FINA elected to rebrand themselves to World Aquatics at the 2022 Extraordinary General Congress meeting, staged in Melbourne, Australia, the day prior to the start of the 2022 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m). The new brand will incrementally be rolled out over 2023, phasing the FINA name out by the end of the year.
