Disney Channel Australia was launched in Optus Vision on 8 June 1996.
In March 1, 1997, Disney Channel Australia adopted the splat logo and idents used in the UK and France.
As Disney Channel Australia expanded to more TV cable services on 1 May 1999, the channel adopted the new logo and idents of Disney Channel UK, with simple circles forming the Mickey head. The idents were created by GÉDÉON.
In March 15, 2004, Disney Channel Australia adopted the 2002 logo and idents of Disney Channel US. In 2007, the channel adopted DCUS's ribbon graphics. Disney Channel Australia went widescreen on September 1, 2009.
In 2012, Disney Channel Australia adopted the smartphone app logo.
In 2014, Disney Channel Australia adopted the wordmark logo.
In 2018, Disney Channel introduced a new on-air look, used concurrently with its 2014 branding
