Dish Network

1996-2000

Dish Network was originally introduced by EchoStar (then a different company) on March 4, 1996. While the logo's basis has been the same throughout its lifespan, its logo has had three modifications, two of the later ones which became the more prominent basis for its recent logo.

2000-present

2000–2006

In April 2000, the 1996 logo was modified, and the slogan "Nothing Else Compares." was dropped from it. This would since then become the foundation for the next two logos below.

2005–2012

On August 16, 2005, the Dish logo was slightly updated by having the bottom portion completely dropped from the logo, amonst other changes. This update was originally meant to reflect the new "Better TV for All" initiative that Dish offered for the next 6 years after this logo's introduction. During its usage, the logo sometimes appeared without the word "Network".

Glossy variant used from 2010 to 2012. This variant was originally utilized to rival DirecTV, but was dropped in early 2012 with the introduction of the next logo. Despite this, it was still used on the DVR menu of later Dish receivers' system software until at least late 2014, when it was finally replaced with the latest logo. It was also present in the Dish 101 program on the provider's channel 101 from late 2011 until mid 2016, albeit without the word "Network".

2012–present

To coincide with the rise of its new family of receivers (dubbed the Hopper and Joey, respectively), Dish refreshed its identity on February 1, 2012. The orbit on the top and the word "Network" were both removed completely, and its logo was colored completely red to retain its color scheme.
