On top of changing their name, the airline also adopted the logo of it's parent company Cathay Pacific in Dragonair's already established shade of maroon. The change also extends to the livery of the aircrafts to match those of the recent Cathay Pacific redesign. The iconic Dragonair dragon has not been retired however, instead being moved to the sides of the cockpit. The reason for the rebrand was to make it clear to passengers that they are travelling with a member of the Cathay Pacific group, a highly-regarded airline brand with an exceptional reputation.
