The program would be retired in later builds of Windows 1.0.
This program would be re-introduced with Windows 1.0 Beta, but the program wasn't able to minimize into an icon, so it didn't have one.
1985–1987[]
Used in Windows 1.0 and 2.0.
1990–1992[]
Used in Windows 3.0.
With the release of Windows 3.0, Calendar would be integrated with the Accessories.
1992–2001[]
Used in Windows 3.1, 95, 98 and ME.
With the release of Windows 95, Calendar would be deprecated in favor of the taskbar's calendar. However, it would get fully discontinued with the release of Windows XP, when it was removed entirely.
Windows Calendar[]
With the release of Windows Vista, Calendar would be re-introduced as a program linked with Hotmail.

Windows Live Calendar (Web Service)[]
With the release of Windows Live Wave 2, a new calendar web service, Windows Live Calendar, was created.

Outlook Calendar[]
2012–2015[]
In 2012, Windows Live Calendar was rebranded as Outlook Calendar. This icon was used in Windows 8 & Windows 8.1. This icon continued to be used on Outlook.com until the 2017 redesign.
2015–2020[]
Used in Windows 10. The Outlook variant was only accessible on a Windows 10 Mobile device.
2018 (proposed)[]

2020–2024[]
This logo was originally designed for Windows 10X, but was only used on Windows 10 and 11.
A different version of the calendar icon can be seen on the Microsoft Edge Homepage, this icon is used for the online version for Outlook Calendar.
In June 2023, Microsoft anounced that Mail, Calendar and People would be replaced by Outlook. Outlook would become the default mail client and calendar for Windows in 2024. The migration of users from Calendar to Outlook started in June 2023.
