Bantay Bata Zamboanga, opened in March 2006, is an extension of Bantay Bata Davao. With support from the local government, non-government organizations like the Child Abuse Prevention and Integration Unit or CAPIU, and the private sector, Bantay Bata is optimistic it can effectively safeguard the rights of children in Zamboanga and neighboring communities.
