Aqua is the most popular bottled water in Indonesia, produced by PT Tirta Investama in Indonesia. First produced in 1973, now it was owned by Danone.
Aqua was first introduced in 1973 as Puritas, means Pure Artesian Water.
In 1974, Puritas was changed its name into Aqua. In 1984, Pure Artesian Water becaming Mountain Spring Water. PT Golden Mississippi was the name of its company (before changing its name into PT Aqua Golden Mississippi Tbk).
This logo was introduced in 2000 when the company was acquired by Danone.
In 2004, the gradient was added into the word "AQUA", the flowing water was changed into the mountain and in 2005, the Danone logo was changed.
As a part of 40th anniversary of Aqua, the mountain was updated. This logo update was launched in February 2013.
