In 1989, Canal 10 España was replaced by a new private TV channel in Spain called Antena 3. With it, the station was founded on 25 August 1989, and then, 4 months later, it was launched by beginning its test transmissions on 25 December 1989, until it begins its official start date on 25 January 1990.
The international channel was launched in 1995 and keeps the same identity like the terrestrial channel.
After Telefónica acquired Antena 3 Televisión S.A the channel changed its tricolor logo to a 3D version and deleted the word Televisión. After Telefónica sold Antena 3 the channel returns to its 3D tricolor logo.
Later the tricolor logo change its colors to a gradient blue, the color of the Telefónica logo.
