April 2009. The speech-bubble was removed and a redesigned Running Man appeared.

Slightly modified: larger text and no dark background. AIM shrunk in the early 2010s as Internet social networks like Facebook and Twitter gained popularity, and its fall has often been compared with other once-popular Internet services such as Myspace.

AIM

A completely redesigned logo in lowercase font, introduced November 2011. The "Running Man" mascot was removed entirely from the product. Logo used concurrently with the previous one until its full roll-out in February 2012.

2015–2017[]

AIM 15

A redesigned, flat Running Man, but with the same wordmark was introduced in August 2015.

This was AIM's final logo as it was phased out by AOL on December 15, 2017.
